About the Company

PentaBind is the first computational aptamer discovery company using generative artificial intelligence (AI) and a fully-integrated wet laboratory to design a new generation of nucleic acid-based therapeutics. We are pioneering the development of these drug-candidates that have the potential to revolutionise care in diseases with high, unmet clinical need.

Our pioneering platform already improves the experimental search space by 300x, generating aptamers for a variety of biotech applications. The development of more advanced biotechnologies could reduce the total global disease burden by 1-3% ($500 billion to $1.3 trillion) in 10-20 years (McKinsey,2020).

We are a VC-backed pre-seed startup with a laboratory in White City, supported by Twin Path, Entrepreneur First, KQ labs, and Cancer Research Horizons. Currently a team of 9, and growing to 22 people in the next 18 months.
